SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi is one of the most anticipated Indian films, aiming for a global release on April 7, 2027. Mahesh Babu leads the film, with Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles.
The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. However, reports suggest that the schedule has been delayed after the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board denied a request for 150 water tankers. With summer demand at its peak, priority has been given to public needs. It remains to be seen how the team will handle the situation.
Recently, co producer SS Karthikeya revealed that the film will also release simultaneously in Spanish. R Madhavan, Prakash Raj, and others play important roles in this production by KL Narayana under Sri Durga Arts. The music is composed by MM Keeravani.
