Among the Sankranthi releases, The Raja Saab stands out as Prabhas returns to the big screen as a lead after one and a half years. The horror comedy also marks the first festive release of the season and stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads.
The film will open with paid premieres on January 8, 2026, with advance bookings in the Nizam region expected to open on January 7, 2026. Pre-sales in North America have already crossed the $456K mark, with five days still left for the premieres.
Directed by Maruthi, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Yogi Babu, and Saptagiri in key roles. It is produced by People Media Factory, with music composed by Thaman S, and is set for a multi-language release.
