Rebel Star Prabhas currently has his hands full with multiple ventures like Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD, Spirit, and a movie with director Maruthi, which are in different stages of production. Salaar is the project that was supposed to be released on September 28th, and when the fans were all ears about the movie’s trailer and promotional content, unexpectedly, the release was pushed back, dispiriting the fans.

Now, here is a buzz that is creating ripples on social media about this action drama. The buzz had it that streaming giant Netflix has bought the digital rights of Prashanth Neel’s directorial. But we have to wait for some more time to get complete details from the makers regarding the OTT deal.

Shruthi Haasan is the female lead in this film, while Mollywood star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran and versatile actor Jagapathi Babu are in for other crucial roles. Produced by Hombale Films, Salaar will have the music of Ravi Basrur. The new release date is expected soon.
