Vijay Deverakonda and director Parasuram’s recent outing, Family Star, ended up as a massive flop at the box office. Given the fact that the film is from the Geetha Govindam combination, the expectations were mighty, but sadly, the film couldn’t reach them.
The latest social media buzz is that this family drama will make its digital debut on May 3. Prime Video is holding the post-theatrical streaming rights of Family Star. Recently, movies that didn’t fare well in theatres made their digital debut in a short span, and Family Star is also expected to take the same route.
Mrunal Thakur paired opposite Vijay in this flick. The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Vasuki, Abhinaya, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. Ace producer Dil Raju bankrolled the film, while Gopi Sundar provided the tunes.
