RRR hit the theaters in Japan on the 21st of October and Ram Charan and Jr NTR aggressively promoted the film here. But can RRR beat Baahubali 2 at the Japanese box office?
Baahubali 2 made 300 million Yen (2.28 million USD) at the Japanese box office and it is the second highest grossing Indian film in Japan after Rajinikanth’s Muthu (400 million Yen).
Now, can RRR beat Baahubali 2’s tally to become the highest grossing Telugu film at the Japanese box office. For that to happen, the Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer should collect over 300 million yen. If it can go further and collect over 400 million yen, it can beat Muthu as well, but that’s not an easy task by any means.
