Bollywood versatile actor Vicky Kaushal scored a solid blockbuster this year in the form of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. His latest outing, The Great Indian Family, went unnoticed at the box office. Vicky Kaushal is now gearing up to entertain the audience with the film Sam Bahadur.
The movie is based on India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Meghna Gulzar, who is known for her films Raazi and Chhapaak, is the director of this biographical film. Despite not having a solo release, Sam Bahadur managed to draw the attention of the audience with its impressive trailer. The advance bookings are decent as well.
Trade pundits predict that the movie will spring a surprise at the box office if it can receive good word of mouth. Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Edward Sonnenblick played vital roles. Ronnie Screwvala produced the film under the banner of RSVP Movies.
