Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s upcoming romantic drama Chand Mera Dil has reportedly received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification after several modifications.
According to reports, the CBFC asked the makers to trim around 96 seconds of kissing scenes and passionate romantic moments before granting clearance.
The edits have already become a major talking point on social media, with fans discussing the censor board’s decision ahead of the film’s release. Chand Mera Dil is now officially set to hit theatres on May 22.
Directed as a youthful romantic entertainer, the movie has generated decent buzz among young audiences thanks to the fresh pairing of Lakshya and Ananya Panday.
