Roshan Meka’s new movie Champion opened to decent reviews. Pradeep Advaitam directed this period action war drama under the skilled production of Swapna Cinema.
Featuring Malayali beauty Anaswara Rajan, the movie has made a decent opening at the box office on day 1. It collected close to Rs. 2 crore gross in Nizam alone, while the worldwide gross stands at around Rs. 4.5 crore, which is the highest in Roshan’s career so far. Ticket sales and word of mouth have come to the film’s aid, and the weekend is expected to see higher collections if things fall in place.
Nandamuri Kalyana Chakravarthy, Murali Sharma, Santosh Pratap, and others appeared in supporting roles. Zee Studios, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films co-produced the film, while Mickey J Meyer composed the music.
