Before her marriage to Naga Chaitanya in 2017, star heroine Samantha used to sign lead roles opposite star heroes in commercial potboilers in Telugu and Tamil. However, post her marriage, Sam has been mostly appearing in female-oriented content-driven movies.
In a latest interview, Naga Chaitanya revealed why Samantha has been sining only a few commercial films of late. He said that Sam’s priorities and career plans have changed post marriage and that she is more keen to experiment performance-oriented roles and subjects and is also giving more importance to quality over quantity.
In a well deserved reward, Samantha’s last few films over the past couple of years have all been successful at the box-office.
