Kiran Abbavaram’s romantic drama Chennai Love Story is coming to cinemas this Friday. Directed by Ravi Namburii, the movie features Sri Gouri Priya as the female lead. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma composed the tunes.
The film has wrapped up its censor formalities, and interestingly, no cuts were suggested. The CBFC awarded it a U/A certificate, and the approved runtime is 179 minutes (2 hours and 59 minutes). For the genre, the runtime is lengthy, but if the screenplay is gripping, then it won’t be an issue.
Baby, which was also backed by SKN and Sai Rajesh, had a three-hour runtime as well. That film went on to become a massive blockbuster and emerged as a money spinner. The makers hope that Chennai Love Story will also go the same way as Baby.
