Though the historical epic Chhaava recently made its OTT debut on Netflix, the movie is still performing well at the box office, and the Vicky Kaushal-starrer has now set a new record.
The film has entered its tenth week in theatres and has earned an impressive Rs. 600 crore nett, maintaining a steady run. What makes this achievement remarkable is that Chhaava has become only the third Hindi film to cross the Rs. 600 crore mark, following Pushpa 2 and Stree 2. While both of those films benefited from being sequels, Chhaava, a standalone project, reached this rare milestone on its own merit.
Meanwhile, the film is trending globally on Netflix, currently ranking fifth in the non-English film category. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this grand production features Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, and others in prominent roles. Produced by Maddock Films, the film is further enhanced by A.R. Rahman’s captivating score and music.
