The next big attraction from Bollywood is Chhaava, headlined by National Award-winning actor Vicky Kaushal. The film is based on the life of Marathi King Sambhaji, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. The movie already has solid hype and is set to open big at the box office. The recently released theatrical trailer enhanced expectations by leaps and bounds.

Everyone is in awe of Vicky Kaushal’s portrayal as Sambhaji and the film’s grand scale. However, the dancing sequence in the trailer featuring Vicky Kaushal didn’t sit well with netizens. Many felt that the Lezim dance looked odd in a film that depicts the greatness of the Marathi rulers.

Taking the feedback into consideration makers have removed this sequence. The movie has a high chance of creating havoc at the box office, and the makers indeed did the right thing by omitting the portion that drew flak from the audience. Laxman Utekar, who previously directed fun entertainers, helmed Chhaava.

Laxman Utekar opined that Sambhaji Maharaj is much bigger than the Lezim dance and added that it wasn’t a big deal to remove the Lezim dance sequence. Utekar mentioned that a special premiere show is scheduled on January 29 where the film will be shown to historians and experts before its official release on February 14.
