Hoping to cash in on the Holi festive advantage, several small budget movies have hit screens this weekend. Much-talked-about adult comedy, Chikati Gadilo Chithakottudu and Vishal-Mohanlal’s Pull Joodham are the notable releases this weekend.
In Krishna district, on its opening day, Chikati Gadilo Chithakottudu collected a share of Rs 5.33 lakhs. In fact, the film collected higher share than Puli Joodham. On the other hand, Puli Joodham collected Rs 3.50 lakhs on day one in the Krishna region. Whether these films will manage to pick up over the weekend remains to be seen.
