Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is making his directorial debut with Sigma. The film stars Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles. Today, the Telugu pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, and Megastar Chiranjeevi graced it.
At the event, Chiranjeevi said, “I feel it is my responsibility to encourage talented youngsters. I don’t see anything wrong in it. The main reason I am here is Sundeep Kishan. He is like a family member to me. Jason Sanjay’s grandfather SA Chandrasekhar gave me some wonderful films like Chattaniki Kallulevu and Devanthakudu.”
Chiru added, “I also attended the opening ceremony of a Vijay’s film once. Hence, when Jason Sanjay became a director and wanted to invite me, I felt very happy. I asked him why he chose to be a director and not an actor. He told me he is interested in writing and direction. He imbibed those qualities from his grandparents.”
“I wish Jason Sanjay reaches great heights as a director and Sigma will be the first step towards it. Sundeep Kishan always attempts a variety of subjects. I learnt that Sigma is a person who believes in himself and doesn’t listen to others. The trailer is entertaining with crime elements,” stated Chiru.
“Faria once made me dance at a function. We were supposed to act in Vishwambhara. Nannu emaina thokkeyali ani chusthunnaav emo anukunnaanu (sarcastic counter to trolls on him). I extend my wishes to Lyca Productions and Mythri Movie Makers. The young blood is very important for cinema. Telugu audience will always encourage good content irrespective of language,” concluded Chiranjeevi.
