There has been plenty of discussion around Megastar Chiranjeevi’s two upcoming films, Kaaka and Vishwambhara. While Kaaka is currently in production, the long-delayed Vishwambhara has been linked to the Sankranthi 2027 release window.
Amid the speculation, there was talk that Kaaka could move out of the Sankranthi 2027 race to make way for Vishwambhara. However, the Kaaka team has now reaffirmed its January 13, 2027 release date, making it clear that the film remains on track for Sankranthi. The makers have also announced that the first single will be released soon.
The focus now shifts to Vishwambhara, as there is still no official release date for the film. Recent reports suggest that Chiranjeevi is expected to take the final call on its release date soon.
Kaaka marks Chiranjeevi’s second collaboration with director Bobby Kolli after Waltair Veerayya. KVN Productions is backing the film, with Thaman composing the music. Anaswara Rajan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil and Getup Srinu play pivotal roles. For now, Kaaka remains firmly on track for Sankranthi 2027, while clarity on Vishwambhara’s release date is awaited.
