Megastar Chiranjeevi has kept fans waiting to experience Vishwambhara in theatres. This socio-fantasy film, directed by Vassishta Mallidi, was initially scheduled to release on January 9, 2025, but was postponed.
While there were earlier rumours about a July 24, 2025 release, nothing was officially confirmed. Now, fresh buzz on social media suggests that the makers are aiming for a September 25, 2025 release. Whether this date will be locked or fans will have to wait even longer remains to be seen.
The film’s first single, though it caught some attention, didn’t create the strong impact many expected. It will be interesting to see how the makers plan their promotional campaign going forward.
Trisha plays the female lead, with Kunal Kapoor as the antagonist. The film also features Aashika Ranganath, Ramya Pasupuleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri in key roles. MM Keeravaani is composing the music, and the project is being bankrolled by UV Creations.
