Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram’s father Vinod Raj aka John Victor passed away in Chennai this afternoon. The reason behind Vinod Raj’s sudden demise is yet unknown. Fans and film industry colleagues are disheartened by the tragic news.
In several interviews, Vikram said that his father was the inspiration behind his entry into movies. Vinod Raj was a native of Paramakudi. He ran away from home with a dream to make it big in the movies. However, he couldn’t find success and only managed to appear in supporting roles in films and TV serials.
