Hindi comedies are proving to be the biggest winners in Bollywood this year. After the impressive starts of Bhooth Bangla and Welcome To The Jungle, Dhamaal 4 has now started with a superb opening weekend at the box office.
According to official figures, Dhamaal 4 collected Rs 67.21 crore net in its opening weekend, surpassing the opening numbers of Bhooth Bangla (Rs 65.25 crore) and Welcome To The Jungle (Rs 65.83 crore).
What is interesting is that all three films belong to the comedy genre and have clicked with audiences across multiplexes, single screens, and mass centers.
At a time when several action dramas and high-concept films are struggling, these entertainers have proved that comedy is the best genre to enjoy in theaters.
