Sree Vishnu’s comedy drama Comrade Kalyan posted a fair opening with Rs. 4 crore gross globally. The growth in evening and night shows on the first day set the stage for a solid weekend.
Carrying the momentum into the second day, the film saw an upward trend, with collections from every show bettering day 1. The encouraging word of mouth and the beginning of the Dussehra holiday season have come into play, resulting in strong growth.
Tomorrow’s advances are already higher than day 2, which puts the film in a firm position. Mahima Nambiar played the female lead, and the comedy entertainer is directed by Janakiram Marella. Satya, Shine Tom Chacko, Radhika Sarathkumar, Upendra Limaye, and Sai Chand played key roles.
