Ravi Teja fans are having a blast with back-to-back updates regarding the actor’s new film with Harish Shankar. This morning, the movie team officially revealed that the film is named Mr. Bachchan. Speculations have been going on that this Ravi Teja starrer is the remake of Ajay Devgn’s superhit film Raid.
Those speculations are true, and Ravi Teja himself has himself confirmed the same. Ajay Devgn took to his Twitter and sent his best wishes to the movie team. Ravi Teja quoted the tweet and wrote, “Thank you for the wishes, Ajay Devgn. The team is RAIDing high to begin the journey.” Raid is based on the real-life income-tax raid conducted on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh, which lasted about 3 days. This is the longest raid in Indian history.
Harish Shankar is among the best when it comes to handling remakes. Salman Khan’s Dabangg is one of the best mass entertainers in Indian cinema, and Harish Shankar recreated Dabangg’s magic with Gabbar Singh. Harish made many changes, yet the essence of the original was retained.
Ravi Teja fans are hoping that Harish Shankar will once again leave his mark with this remake. Yaariyan 2 fame Bhagyashri Borse is the female lead, and the movie will be produced by People Media Factory.
