After several rounds of postponements and countless controversies, Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic magnum opus, Padmavat, is all set to hit the screens finally. As per the latest reports, Padmavat is slated for January 25 release. An official announcement is expected this evening.
Padmavat features leading Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in the titular role, while Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will be seen as Alauddin Khilji and Ratan Singh respectively. The CBFC has finally issued a UA certificate to Padmavat on Friday. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures produced this high-budget period saga.
