Leo still holds the top spot in Kerala among Tamil films, collecting Rs. 12 crore gross on its opening day.
Coolie managed to earn only Rs. 9.75 crore gross in Kerala on its first day, failing to hit double digits. Leo’s collections demonstrate that Thalapathy Vijay enjoys an unprecedented following in this territory. However, after a fantastic day one, Leo’s collections dropped significantly in Kerala due to mixed word of mouth.
