Dacoit

A few hours ahead of its global release, Dacoit is already creating buzz, and not just for its story. The romantic revenge thriller, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, is directed by Shaniel Deo and is gearing up for a grand release in both Telugu and Hindi.

Adding to the excitement, Sesh recently confirmed during an interaction with fans on X that the remixed version of the iconic 1994 track “Kanne Pettaro Kannu Kottaro” from Hello Brother will be part of the final cut. Addressing the ongoing chatter, he revealed that the song appears in what he described as a “lovely scene.”

The remix, however, had stirred controversy soon after it was featured in the film’s teaser. While it quickly caught attention and became a highlight, original composer Koti raised concerns, questioning how the track was used without permission from him or Raj, his composing partner.

The issue was later resolved after producer Supriya Yarlagadda personally met Koti and sorted things out. With the matter now settled, the song is back in focus.

All eyes are now on Dacoit as audiences wait to see how this recreated 90s classic fits into the film and whether it lives up to expectations.
