Adivi Sesh is all set to captivate audiences with his next ambitious project, Dacoit. The movie marks the directorial debut of popular cinematographer Shaniel Deo, and the film is rooted in a dark, emotionally charged narrative that blends romance with vengeance. Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead, while acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap appears in a pivotal role.
To mark Adivi Sesh’s birthday today, the makers unveiled a striking poster. It presents the actor in a raw and intense avatar, handcuffed, holding a cigar, and staring fiercely into the distance. The bruises on his face hint at a man forged by violence and haunted by unresolved conflicts.
The teaser for Dacoit will be unveiled tomorrow in both Telugu and Hindi. While the Telugu teaser will be launched at a special event in Hyderabad, the Hindi version will be released in Mumbai.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios, Dacoit is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi, the Telugu New Year.
