Actor-cum-writer Adivi Sesh is gearing up to entertain audiences with his next flick, Dacoit. The film marks the directorial debut of popular cinematographer Shaniel Deo. The movie features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead and is slated for an April 10 release.
A while ago, the makers dropped the theatrical trailer, and it looks intriguing, with a blend of romance and action elements. Hari (Adivi Sesh) and Juliet (Mrunal Thakur) are lovebirds who decide to take their relationship to the next level with marriage. However, the female lead betrays the protagonist by leaving him and marrying another man.
Years later, they cross paths again in an unexpected manner. Juliet now needs a lump sum but has no idea how to arrange the funds. This is when Hari suggests to her that they should pull off a robbery together. In the midst of all this, a cop played by Anurag Kashyap goes after them.
Why did Juliet betray Hari? Why did he end up in jail? Why does Juliet need a huge amount of money? Did the duo succeed in their robbery? What happened in the end? All the answers will be revealed on April 10. The action sequences look promising in the trailer, backed by an interesting story.
