While buzz around the postponement of RRR release date has been doing the rounds for a while now, there’s no certain confirmation from anyone in the team. In fact, Ram Charan went ahead to say that the film will release on time just around two weeks ago. But we hear straight from the horse’s mouth that the film’s release has been pushed definitely.
A highly-placed source from the film’s unit has confirmed that RRR is going to release in October as opposed to the originally planned July 30. Distributors who have purchased the film have been informed of the same, and it looks like this leaves the slot free for some other big releases!
With the budget going a little higher and the scale becoming bigger, Rajamouli wants to leave no stone unturned to make this film on par with his last release Baahubali. A small glitch also came in the form of the casting delay for the actors hired from London. Well, it looks like Dussehra is going to be quite the festival to look forward to this year!
