Maidaan is a film that is being liked by one and all. Those who have watched the film have only good things to say about the sports drama featuring Ajay Devgan.
Unfortunately, the film has taken a very slow start at the box office, making only 7.3 crores on day one. Word of mouth has not resulted in collections.
The makers have announced a buy-one-get-one scheme, but still, the film is slow. Even on day two, the occupancy of Maidaan is quite low. Despite Bade Miyan Chote Miyan getting negative talk, the occupancy of Maidaan has not increased.
Boney Kapoor has produced this film, which is based on the game of football. The film has been in the making for almost five years now.
