Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s just released emotional romantic drama, Dear Comrade, has had a pretty good start at the US box-office. The film collected a gross of $310,102 from the Thursday premieres. This is the third highest premiere gross for any Telugu movie in the US in 2019, after Maharshi ($516,441) and NTR Kathanayakudu ($482,599).
And on Friday morning, Dear Comrade collected close to $78,281 from 155 locations until 10:30 AM PST. The film’s latest US gross is close to $388,383. This a solid opening, considering that it’s a non-holiday release and that too without any offers. Dear Comrade will gross more than half a million dollars by the end of its first weekend in the US.
