A few months ago, Bollywood media outlets reported that Dhanush would soon star in a mythological jungle drama to be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by PS Mithran.

During the promotions of Sardar 2, PS Mithran was asked if the news about the project was true. He replied, “Talks are going on for that film. Once finalized, we will officially announce it.”

So, the reports appear to be accurate, and we can likely see one more Bollywood project from Dhanush. Interestingly, the same reports mentioned that the film was initially offered to Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who didn’t accept it for reasons unknown.
