Dhanush is back in the director’s chair for his own film, Idli Kadai. Nithya Menen plays his on-screen partner, and the recently released trailer has received a decent response.
The team has made it official that the movie has completed its formalities and has been awarded a clean U certificate by the censor board. However, there’s no official word yet on the film’s runtime.
Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, and others appear in supporting roles. Produced jointly by Dawn Pictures, Wunderbar Films, and Red Giant Movies, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar. It will release in Telugu as Idli Kottu on October 1, 2025.
