The bilingual sociodrama Sir (Vaathi in Tamil), starring Dhanush, recently made its debut on Netflix. In no time, the film gained popularity on the OTT platform.
The latest and surprising news is that both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film are now trending globally on Netflix. As per the latest statistics (March 13-19, 2023) released by Netflix, Vaathi is currently trending at 9th place in the Non-English category, whereas Sir has settled in the 10th position. The makers are quite happy with this feat.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the movie has Samyuktha as the female lead. Tanikella Bharani, Sai Kumar, Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadhi, and others played key roles in this flick, produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director of this film.
