Dhanush’s recent outing SIR/Vaathi, is the biggest hit in the actor’s career. The social drama directed by Venky Atluri won over the audience with its emotional content. Dhanush had a solid debut in Telugu. The movie made its premiere on Netflix in multiple languages on March 17th.
The Hindi version of the film, which premiered along with the Telugu and Tamil versions, is still trending in the top 10 of Netflix India’s movies section. Despite several films making their OTT debut after SIR, the Dhanush starrer is still getting solid traffic.
Samyuktha Menon played the female lead. GV Prakash Kumar’s music also played a crucial role in the film’s success. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya produced the film under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and Hyper Aadi played vital roles.
