Tamil star Dhanush’s Tere Ishk Mein hit cinemas a couple of days ago in both Hindi and Tamil. Kriti Sanon pairs with him in this romantic drama directed by Aanand L Rai.
The film wrapped up its first two days at the domestic box office on a positive run. It started with roughly Rs. 15 crore nett in Hindi on day one and kept the pace going on day two. The second day brought in Rs. 16.57 crore nett, a small lift that took the total to Rs 31.63 crore nett (India).
If this trend holds, the movie should cross the Rs. 50 crore nett mark in Hindi by the end of the first weekend. The real test will come once the weekday figures start to drop in.
The cast also features Prakash Raj, Maahir Mohiuddin and Sushil Dahiya. The film is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, with music by AR Rahman.
