Bollywood veteran Dharmendra was last seen in Ikkis. The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, was released in theatres on January 1, 2026. However, it did not take long to make its digital debut. Amazon Prime Video acquired the streaming rights but initially made it available only on a rental basis.
This limited viewership, as subscribers had to pay an additional ₹349 apart from their Prime membership to watch the film. Now, there is good news for movie lovers — Ikkis will be available to stream without rental charges on Prime Video from February 26, 2026.
Backed by Maddock Films, Ikkis is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and focuses on the Battle of Basantar during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film also features Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jitendra Singh, Shree Bishnoi, and Simar Bhatia in key roles.
