Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar emerged as a mega blockbuster across the board. The spy action thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, opened with Rs. 28 crore nett on day one and has now amassed a staggering Rs. 865 crore nett in India. The film created a storm across the country, sparked widespread discussions, and went on to become the new industry hit of Bollywood. Following its phenomenal success, the makers announced March 19, 2026, as the release date for the sequel.
However, from time to time, certain social media handles have been spreading misinformation suggesting that the film might be postponed. Putting an end to these rumours, director Aditya Dhar has clarified that Dhurandhar 2 will release as per the planned schedule.
According to reports, Aditya Dhar is currently working on the trailer for the second part. The makers are said to be planning to launch the theatrical trailer by the end of February, with other post-production work progressing simultaneously.
