While it was already known that JioHotstar holds the digital rights, previous buzz suggested the movie would arrive in mid-May, specifically around May 14, 2026. However, the scenario has now completely changed.
According to ongoing speculations, the movie’s OTT premiere has been revamped and pushed to the first week of June. The primary reason behind this delay is the Indian Premier League (IPL). As the tournament moves toward its high-intensity final stages in mid-May, the makers feel releasing the film during this peak cricket fever would negatively impact viewership.
JioHotstar is strategically planning to release the film once the IPL concludes, ensuring it gets the massive digital reception it deserves. We now wait to see if the makers will make this official.
