It won’t be an overstatement to say that Dhurandhar 2 is currently the most hyped Indian film. Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, broke all existing records in Bollywood and earned cult status in a very short period of time. The spy action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar is now creating ripples on Netflix with its availability in multiple languages.
The second part, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, arrives in cinemas on March 19, 2026. Today, the makers released the film’s teaser on YouTube, and it is no different from the teaser that we saw at the end of Dhurandhar 1. Since yesterday, fans had been waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of the teaser, and they were left disappointed as it featured no new shots or footage.
Only the background score was altered with new lyrics, while the visuals remain the same. The excitement has taken a slight hit with the teaser, and a new asset could have skyrocketed the already existing hype.
It seems the decision to release the old teaser in different languages was a deliberate choice by the marketing team of Dhurandhar to throw a challenge to rivals by reiterating the release date and daring them to clash. Reports suggest that the theatrical trailer of Dhurandhar 2 might arrive by the end of February. Nevertheless, the sequel is set to create havoc at the box office.
