With yesterday’s collections, the latest box office monster Dhurandhar has surpassed King Khan Shah Rukh’s Pathaan collections in North America to emerge as the all-time top 3 grosser of Indian cinema in this territory. So far, the spy action thriller has earned over $17.5 million in North America.
Dhurandhar is currently only behind Kalki 2898 AD ($18.56 million) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ($20.79 million). Looking at the momentum, the Bollywood film has a chance to become the all-time top Indian grosser in this market. The second spot looks certain, and it remains to be seen if Ranveer Singh’s film can challenge the mighty Baahubali 2.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor in key roles. At the worldwide box office, the movie has earned over Rs. 1100 crores gross.
