Just when fans thought the OTT story of Dhurandhar: The Revenge had run its course, the blockbuster action thriller is back in the spotlight with a fresh update.
The film is already streaming on JioHotstar in India and on Netflix overseas in its unmuted version. However, back in mid-May, we reported that Netflix India was also expected to bring the raw and uncut version to its platform. That update is now set to become a reality.
Netflix will begin streaming the blockbuster sequel tomorrow (June 19) in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. More importantly, the version arriving on the platform is expected to be the same international cut, featuring the original unmuted audio. With Netflix joining JioHotstar in the streaming race, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to expand its digital footprint and reach an even larger audience.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh, the spy action thriller grossed over Rs. 1,800 crore worldwide, emerging as one of Bollywood’s biggest successes. The film also stars Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan, and others in key roles. After dominating the box office, it now looks poised to make a bigger impact in the OTT space as well.
