The latest box-office monster, Dhurandhar, has now set another new record in Hindi cinema. This Ranveer Singh starrer has recorded the biggest second weekend collection for any Hindi film (including dubbed), earning Rs. 146.6 crores nett.
The previous record for the second weekend was held by Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs. 128 crores nett). However, the spy action thriller went berserk at the ticket windows, exceeding the earlier record by a solid margin. The India nett of Aditya Dhar’s directorial now stands at Rs. 364.6 crores. Globally, Dhurandhar collected over Rs. 550 crores gross in 10 days.
Initially, the film looked like targeting Rs. 400 crores gross in its full run, but with the audiences accepting it with open arms, the box office destruction is only intensifying with each passing day. At this moment, it’s difficult to predict how much the film will earn in its lifetime.
