Following the massive pan-Indian success of KGF Chapter 1 a couple of years ago, all eyes are on the second part of the franchise, KGF Chapter 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this Yash-starrer was initially scheduled to hit screens on October 23 as a Dasara festive treat. However, there is no clarity on the film’s release date due to the lockdown and the film’s main antagonist Sanjay Dutt’s cancer diagnosis.
But if the latest tweet posted by Prashanth Neel is anything to go by, KGF Chapter 2 may surely hit screens in 2020 itself. Wishing the film’s producer, Vijay Kiragandur, on his birthday, Prashanth said, “I know for a fact this year for us will be the biggest.” Well, Prashanth did seem to have given a big hint on KGF Chapter 2’s release.
