Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Orange made a grand comeback to theatres on Valentine’s Day, receiving a phenomenal response, much like its initial re-release in 2023. Directed by ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar, the film stars Genelia as the female lead. Audiences have been showering the movie with love, and the box office collections have been decent.
In a recent interview, director Bhaskar revealed that two different climaxes were written for the film. Initially, he envisioned an ending where the lead pair parted ways, believing it would make the story more impactful. However, after discussions, the makers decided to opt for a happy ending, considering the struggles the lead characters endured throughout the film. Despite this change, Bhaskar still felt that the original climax would have been a stronger narrative choice.
When Orange was first released in 2010, it struggled at the box office, resulting in losses for producer Naga Babu. Although Harris Jayaraj’s music was a chartbuster, it wasn’t enough to draw audiences to theatres. However, over the years, the film has gained a cult following. Fans now flock to theatres, turning screenings into musical celebrations by singing along with the songs, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
