Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine, directed by Shakti Pratap Singh, is up for a grand release on 1st March 2024. The movie is based on the Pulwama attack, and Varun Tej plays an Air Force pilot. Recently, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter was centered around the same incident, and hence, people started to draw parallels between these two films.
During the trailer launch event, director Shakti Pratap Singh responded to the comparisons. He said, “Ours is a movie about the Indian Air Force. I haven’t seen Fighter. I am sure we are bringing a unique perspective to the audience. Whatever we are showing in our film happens very commonly in the Air Force. But not many people know about it. Operation Valentine is not just about action. It explores the camaraderie and relationship among Air Force pilots.”
The movie is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures, and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment (Vakil Khan) and Nandakumar Abbineni. Mickey J. Meyer composed the tunes, while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues.
