Trade experts are shell-shocked to see the low opening of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. For a film that is made on a budget of 300 crores, trade pundits expected a minimum of 25 crores nett on the opening day. But the film fared way below expectations and raked in only 16 crores nett.
The shocking thing is that this low opening came on Eid, which is considered an excellent day for Bollywood films. On the other hand, the dubbed versions of this action thriller collected just 18 lakhs nett on the first day.
The movie was not promoted in South Indian states and many are not even aware of the dubbed versions. Ali Abbas Zafar directed this flick, which has Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F as the female leads.
