After disappointing fans with a few duds, versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana started with a clean slate with Dream Girl2, which has Liger beauty Ananya Pandey as the female lead. The film got a good response from audiences and critics alike and is doing great at the box office. Now, the wonderful news is that this Ayushmann starrer is cruising towards the 100 crores (Nett) milestone.

Yesterday, the film minted 4.7 crores nett at the box office, taking its total tally to 71.7 crores nett. Today and tomorrow being a weekend, the film is expected to show big jumps. If so, it would become one of the highest-grossers for Ayushmann after Dream Girl and Badhaai Ho.

Bollywood is already having a whale of a time with back-to-back blockbusters, and this news will add some more joy to their enthusiasm. Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor bankrolled Dream Girl 2 under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. Raaj Shaandilya directed this movie.
