Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 was out in theatres yesterday. The film had good buzz prior to the release enjoying the sequel advantage. The reviews were highly favorable, and the public talk was also positive.
The film took a very good start at the box office by raking in 15.38 crores on day one, as per the PR. This is the second-biggest opener for direct Hindi films in 2022, and the film is only behind Brahmastra on the opening day. This is a fantabulous start, and the opening weekend is poised to cross the 50 crores mark.
When Hindi films are struggling to get some good numbers, the opening of Drishyam 2 has greatly relieved the industry. Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak and stars Shriya Saran, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor in crucial roles.
