The Malayalam version of Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal, turned out to be a massive box office success after its release on May 21, 2026. Though the thriller received mixed reviews from a section of critics, it resonated strongly with audiences and crossed the Rs. 200 crore mark worldwide within its first week.
The film’s phenomenal performance has further heightened expectations for the Hindi remake. What has particularly excited fans is the makers’ promise that the Hindi version will not be a frame by frame adaptation and will instead feature significant changes, including a fresh climax designed specifically for Hindi audiences.
Meanwhile, the Hindi version has achieved a major milestone, as the makers have officially wrapped up the shoot. The film has now entered the post production phase and is on track for its theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
Produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studios on a grand scale, Drishyam 3 stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role alongside Tabu and Shriya Saran. Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, and Prakash Raj play pivotal roles in the film.
