This October is set to begin with the much-awaited finale of the Drishyam franchise. Ajay Devgn-led Drishyam: The Conclusion is carrying high expectations ahead of its October 2 release, and the film has already opened to strong advance sales, indicating solid audience interest ahead of its theatrical arrival.
The film has now cleared the censor process, and the notable detail is that it received certification without a single cut. The CBFC has awarded the murder-investigation thriller a U/A 16+ certificate. The film has a crisp runtime of 150 minutes, but its certification without cuts is the detail that has caught attention.
Interestingly, after Drishyam (2015), Drishyam: The Conclusion is the longest film in the Hindi franchise. The finale brings back Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant, while also featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Rajat Kapoor.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is backed by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. With the censor formalities now cleared, all eyes are on the film’s October 2 theatrical release.
