The latest update reveals that the team is working on the script for Dude 2. In a recent interview, Keerthiswaran revealed that he had already pitched an idea to Pradeep Ranganathan that carries the spirit of Dude.

The director added that he is currently working on the script, and if things work out, Dude 2 will go on the floors. Keerthiswaran made it clear that Dude 2 will be a proper continuation of Dude, if it happens at all. Mythri Movie Makers backed this rom-com entertainer.
