Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan was recently seen in the film I’m Game, which emerged as a commercial flop. Though the first half was good, the second half couldn’t match the impact of the initial half, ultimately resulting in a box-office failure.

In a recent interaction with fans on X, Dulquer took responsibility for the film’s underperformance. A fan asked Dulquer if he had gone through an analysis thread that he had posted, and Dulquer answered, “I read through it. I’m not saying you were wrong in your analysis. You were mostly right. And trust me, we are aware of all of it. But there are just times when, from our end, we can do everything right, but outside factors can turn those upside down.”

Dulquer added that it’s easy to analyse an end product, but it’s never easy to make a film, and that there is no particular formula that can be applied to make a good movie. He concluded by saying that nobody intends to make a bad film and asked the fan to blame him for the result.

Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, I’m Game is produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner of Wayfarer Films. The movie also features an ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Vinay Forrt, Parth Tiwari, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Aadam, and Ashish Mathew.
